With our new home, I have been able to experiment with some new styles. My newest idea was to create pillows with our numbers on them. I wanted to use numbers that had meaning, versus just the typical 1,2,3,4 that can be seen at Pottery Barn, Neiman Marcus , Etsy and other decor sources.
The tray is filled with "Toddler Touchables" such as moss-covered stones, rose-shaped pine cones, foreign coins, and sea shells. The unlit candle is not a touchable, of course, but it added height.
In my daughter's room, I had used a hanging bow ribbon, but as her bow collection has grown, I wanted to try something new. This is my idea:
The ribbons are tied behind the closet doors, and the bows are rainbow-organized. It has made matching outfits extremely easy! Plus it adds a pretty splash of color to otherwise plain closet doors.
How lovely!! You have put so much thought in adding these special touches to your new home! You'll have to share more on your pillows--they look wonderful! And I love the idea of the "toddler touchables!" The items look beautiful, and they add such richness to your little one's days as well! P.S. Your other pillows are a tad bit closer to being done ; )
