Ladybug Party!

My daughter requested a ladybug party for her third birthday before she was even two-and-a-half. She excitedly would tell people, "I am going to have a ladybug birthday!"  And so we did.  I made cakepops, lemon bug cakes, lemon cupcakes, and strawberry-chocolate cake.  I also did a dinner, since we had an evening party.

For the girls in attendance, I made feather hair barettes- red and black, of course, instead of party hats.

For favors, I put together bags of silly-bands and ladybug stickers, as well as homemade ladybug crayons (which you can find here).  Here are a few photos of the event:
