Nursery Remodel

When we bought our home a year ago, I wasn't thinking about a new baby.  I was only thinking about how to transform a very neglected, abused, and semi-destroyed house into a home.  Well, the time has come to consider where are we going to put this child? We decided against invading our daughter's room with a crib while taking away her lovely kitchen, and instead transforming our own master suite!
There is a "seating area" in our room that is pretty useless, except for storing (and I do mean storing) our elliptical machine and other exercise equipment.
So, we decided to build a nursery in our bedroom.
Normally my husband would attack this project himself.  He's done everything himself with this house: installed a new gas water heater, built decorative columns, added crown moulding, flooring, flooring, and flooring (I helped!), new toilet, landscaping, trim, built-in shelving in the laundry, installing dishwasher, etc., but adding a wall and french door seemed a bit much when we can hire someone who needs the work and knows what they are doing.  So, we hired it out!
Here's the area before (after my husband moved the elliptical out):

It looks pretty small in this photo, but actually it's about 88 sq feet (8'x11').

Here is the result from the first day of construction:  (Thank you, Pierre!)

Second day:

Day Three:

And finished!

Now we just have to wait for Baby Sister to get here!!!
