10 years ago today....

My husband of seven years and I went on our first date.  It was a lovely October 5th, 2011, sunny and seasonably warm in Marietta, Ohio.

In some ways, it is difficult to believe it's only been ten years, but in other ways it seems like yesterday!  How much we have changed, grown, and loved in those ten years!  We were both still in college, with our lives uncertain.  Now we have a lovely home, an amazing daughter, and a wonderful life we've built together with the help of our Father, family, and friends.

Ten years ago today,  my then-roomate and still wonderful friend Sarah said,

"You are going to marry him someday!"

Thank you, My Favorite, for being the wonderful, thoughtful, loving, giving, kind, understanding, Godly blessing I needed.  Thank you for giving me every dream I have ever had- and some that I couldn't have even imagined.  Thank you for these past 10 years of love, and may God bless us with decades more.

I love you forever.
