Purple Horse Dreams

Since she could speak, my daughter has loved the color purple.  Not the novel, mind you, the actual color.  Violet on the spectrum.  She prefers purple whenever she has the choice.  For example, every single time we go to story-time, she chooses a purple maraca.  Every single time she is in Bible class, she uses a purple crayon.  She absolutely loves (and is very loyal to) her purple.
Often I ask her what she dreamed about.  Her typical response is, "purple horses."  Although I believe this is an exaggeration, and probably not true at all, the other day she was emphatic about her purple horsey dream, and talked about it off-and-on the entire day, even begging me to draw a "purple horsey from my dream" in the evening.  That dream apparently was genuine.
This evening, driving home from West Virginia, she saw a field of horses (which is her "very favorite aminal") and said, "Mommy, are there any purple horses?"  I answered her that God hadn't made purple horses.  This astounded her.  "Why not?" and she added, "Mommy, YOU should make purple horses!  You should, Mommy!"
I wonder if this has to do with the fact that I have purchased almost the entire Gymboree Cowgirls at Heart clothing line for her?  They are her favorite clothing items, without a doubt.
