The Glamourous Housewife

I am a huge fan of the Dick Van Dyke Show, and loved Laura's clothes!  Recently we've watched a few episodes of Mad Men- which is not a good example of morals, in the least- but THE CLOTHES!



I can't help myself- I have always fallen for these styles of dresses.  I have had several in my wardrobe since I was in college, and my honeymoon dress was absolutely this style.  I think it's the modesty, glamour, and romance of them.  I will soon post a photo of the newest dress I found- at Macy's, on clearance- and I think you will love it.  I know I do!  (Oh, and I am bidding on another that's on Ebay right now!)
I love the idea of making dinner wearing one of these dresses, an apron, and my pearls! Mind you- I love the IDEA of it.  Practically speaking, probably not the best idea.
