Despite the various intense and difficult battles I have been having with my daughter lately, she still has moments of sweetness.
"I love you, Mommy. Here's a little 'triangle' kiss."
"Dear God, thank you for my Mommy and Daddy..."
"That was sweet, Mommy. That made me happy."
The occasional BIG kiss, where she holds your head with both hands and smashes her mouth against yours for about 30 seconds, is the best prize of all. I never tire of those kisses that leave you both looking wide-eyed, like that was the best thing ever. And it was.
